Deadline date April 21, 2007 and dates of event May 5, 2007 and winners recital May 13,2007.

This music competition is a new program created by the Alexandria Performing Arts Association to bring more performance opportunities to talented youth in the community. Categories include Grades 5-8 and 9-12 in keyboard, other instrumental and voice. The Sixth Annual Music Competition will be held at Alexandria's George Washington Masonic Memorial Theater. Local music teachers and musicians serve as judges for the competition. The winners are given an opportunity to perform for public audiences.
