The concert will feature works by guest keyboard artist, vocalist, and composer William F. Hubbard.  The choir will perform original works by Mr. Hubbard, composer of the acclaimed musical "Three Sistahs," which enjoyed a recent successful off-Boadway run.  Other program selections chosen by the choir's director, Becky Mays, will include "I'll Pass Over", "I Love You Lord Today", and "Somtimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child".  The choir will be accompanied on piano by Jeff Corry, a faculty member of Howard University School of Music.

This choir is a unique vocal ensemble in the City of Alexandria.  More than 80 women, who are regular members of nine separate area church choirs of various denominations, comprise the Ebenezer Baptist Church Women's Ecumenical Choir.  Since its inception in March 2007, the choir has performed often in the greater Washington DC area and has toured extensively throughout the eastern United States.  Ms. Mays, a soprano, has sung and preached throughout the United States and many European nations and has performed with a wide range of award-winning artists.
